TEACHING Teaching takes place in a comfortable, sound proof studio, fully equipped with two drum kits. There are audio and video recording facilities for the purpose of watching and listening to the lessons given. Lessons take place once a week for one hour, during which the theoretical and practical aspects of drumming are presented. Tuition is provided pertaining to the following drumming subjects:

• Jazz
• Funk
• Independence studies
• Stick control (rudiments)
• Reading drumming music and drum charts
• Linear drumming
• Technique
• Odd metres
• Working with a click/metronome
• Brush technique

The curriculum covered from week to week is extremely comprehensive, containing material from the best drumming institutions around the world. There is also an extensive library of audio-visual material that will reinforce the education process.
